The Chicago Basketball Academy (CBA) was founded in 2013 by Damond Williams. A Chicago native, one-time star for MSU, former Harlem Globetrotter and well-traveled international shooting guard. In 2009, he won a championship with Al Jalaa, and has over 25 years of experience in the field of basketball. He also obtains a dual degree in Social Sciences comprised of 3 notable universities between 1998-2003; New Mexico State University, University of Memphis, and McNeese State University. His pursuit of leveling the playing field has helped position CBA as the cornerstone of the "Basketball Economy" which involves all areas of the sport and the business of basketball. By increasing human capital, and global participation rates by more than 200% over an 8 year period, Mr. Williams has also gained national recognition from Crains, Forbes, the BBB, and other prominent media sources around the world.

Mr. Drolett, began his basketball career coaching High-School basketball in Utah in the late 2010's. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Utah, he became the Staff Supervisor and Team Official at Basin Recreation. His responsibilities covered various components of facility operations, and day to day involvement. Mr. Drolett moved to Chicago shortly after, and subsequently began his tenure at CBA as a mentor & counselor for athletes in 2014. Shortly after, he was voted in as an Advisory Board member in 2015. Mr Drolett has over 15 years of experience in the field of basketball, and a huge heart for helping youth strive for excellence. Lastly, Mr. Drolett has successfully led Sports for Development workshops over a 3 year period with one of CBA's founding partners, UNICEF.

Ms. Kudhail is from the UK, with a honors degree from University of Roehampton in London having a high concentration for preventative methods that increase performance goals for athletes. Ms. Kudhail has observed, researched and worked alongside the Manchester Giants basketball club; their players and their support team. Ms. Kudhail is also a qualified GYROTONIC® Level 1 apprentice. The GYROTONIC® method is a unique teaching method that stretches whilst strengthening the body, also developing co-ordination and the body’s range of motion. She states that, unlike most conventional exercise machines with isolated movement patterns, which overtime creates uncoordinated strength, the GYROTONICEXPANSION SYSTEM® equipment encourages multiple joint articulation, strengthening the surrounding ligaments including the attachments.
